DirectLandings :: About Us :: Our Technology

DirectLandings, a product of Encephalo Associates, offers some unique functionality not offered by any other service provider.

First, our URLs. Encephalo Associates owns scores of domain messages, which are registered for our clients’ exclusive use. By appending a brand name and personalization to one of our proprietary domain messages, we create unique URLs, using a completely automated process.

This URL appears within an email message created by the sender. (In the Premium Version of DirectLandings, the URL could also be shown on a letter or postcard, that the recipient could then re-type into their browser.) When the URL is clicked, the reader is transported to a website landing page. This brings us to a second unique feature - our website landing pages are branded and highly personalized. (In the Personal Version of DirectLandings, the recipient is additionally shown a personalized resource library, along with a personalized pop-up note from the sender.)

In both the Premium and Personal Versions of DirectLandings, the sender can be notified via email that the recipient opened their email message, visited their website landing page, and opened a document in their resource library. Real-time reports summarizing these activities are on demand. Again, these processes are all highly automated.

Encephalo Associates’ branded messaging and personalization solutions are legally protected by copyrights on the programming code, and utilize the platform-independent language of PHP.

DirectLandings is hosted on servers co-located with Verio, and is connected to the Internet through Verio’s global tier one network backbone featuring the fastest connections, 24/7 continuous monitoring, nightly backups, and security redundancy.
